Sisters - best friends

 These 2 photos pretty well sum up the girls relationship.  Ella is awestruck by her sister.  The other night I was sitting on the floor with Kailey draped all over me and Ella crawls up and starts tickling her sister and the both of them giggled like crazy...it was so sweet.

Ella One Year Stats

weight: 22 lbs 12oz

height: 29"

head: 46.5 cm

so she is in about the 78th percentile for height and weight!!  No bottles at all when she is home  - not even at bedtime.  She still takes a bottle at Kim's and that is A-ok with me!!  Homo milk makes her gassy among other things, but with the lactaid drops she is back to normal and is drinking a lot more again.  Still eating like crazy and she loooooves peanut butter so that makes mornings easier and messier all at the same time. :-)  She is totally happy to be at Kim's for the three days I am at work.  The minute I pick her up though I cannot set her down until bedtime and that makes it hard to get supper on the table.  My mission is to always have freezer meals that I can cook up on the weekends for those 3 nights.  I want to make sure we do not fall in the trap of eating on the run and therefore not eating balanced meals.  Ella's pup in the house is BOB...2 bites for Ella and one for Bob.  Those 2 are so cute together.  Bob follows her everywhere and really put up with a ton from her and adores her just the same....crazy at the time, but I am so glad we got this little guy.  Bridgey-Boo is still Kailey's.  Can you believe Rod and Shilo are almost 10!!!!  TEN.  :-(  I digress...

Trying really hard to get some nice shots of Ella to give out, but she is sooooo hard to photograph as she sees the camera and purposely crawls out of the shot giggling...thanks.  The top one is the best so far so you all might be getting that one until I can get something better (don't hold your breath though..hahaha).

crazy curly spinner

 someone is still feeling under the weather as she zonked out during lunch....

 decided to make a cake for her even though we are celebrating her Birthday in a couple of weeks.  Also wanted to try this out....cupcake cake - easy to serve.  Not sure what we are going to do with 24 cupcakes mind you...hahahaha.

just had to share this one...she is so close to walking and she is pushing this chair around the kitchen which is pretty funny if you are not a dog.

-She also has a new tooth - a bottom one on the other side of her only center one...strange she wouldn't cut the other one in the middle first.  So she has three on the top and 2 on the bottom.

My baby girl where did this year go?  I am having a difficult time trying to find the perfect words to describe how much you have brought to my life.  You are simply sunshine and love.  The moment I looked into your big brown eyes I fell so in love and I felt as though a light was turned on deep inside me.  You have been such a sweet and content baby and seeing your little personality develop has been pure joy.  Your husky little voice is so unique and that amazing smile of yours is contagious.  I love how you can still fall asleep on my chest and snuggle.  I also adore how you admire your big sister and follow her around. I know you cannot read this, but I just wanted to let you know you are such a gift and I love you more than words.  Thank you for a wonderful year! xoxoxoxox
