Christmas in Edmonton

Kailey and I were able to come to Edmonton for a quick visit (December 18) as we hitched a ride with Brad and Cheryl.  It was a very fun filled 24 hours. :-)  We went to Robbie's Hockey practice where Lana and Kailey hung out together - those 2 are going to be tight for sure, both so into girly stuff.  The funniest thing ever was when Robbie spotted me and I could see him say, "hi Auntie Shari' through his helmet...hahaha.  He hit the boards a few times coming over for a quick hello through the glass.  Uncle Colin took Kailey over to the players box to get an up close view of the skaters...she thought she was super special. :-)  We went to Londonderry after lunch at Red Robins to watch Robbie Bear do some TWD and then the real magic began when we got back to the house and the kids got to open their gifts.  Nan, Grandpa Denis and Nana were there so it was really like a mini-Christmas for us. :-)  Some more stories about that great visit, including a story of Curly/my Sheltered daughter's big adventure to a mall with more than one level...hahaha to follow.

Some Dance Videos

It was Kailey's dance open house today so Jack managed to get a ton of pictures and videos.  I am still sick so I stayed behind with Ella. :-(  As you can see, this is called creative movement for a reason...hahahaha.  She loves this class and adores Miss Wendy.  Her big recital is the last weekend in April at the base Theatre and her costume is already on order.  Her group opens the show!!!!

 Little Ella Bella Boo cut her top 2 teeth the same day this picture was taken!!!  She was running a high fever so I gave her some Advil, but other than that nothing else to report.  I am so lucky as that could have been a major deal.  I was shocked to see the 2 of them.  One came down faster than the other, so with her one bottom tooth and the top one it looks pretty funny when she smiles now.  Her other bottom tooth is very very close.

Kailey and Daddy all ready for their date night.  She was waiting with her jacket and boots on and asked me to take a picture of them.  She was sooooo into the movie and now has a favorite Princess.  Don't buy any Rapunzel stuff though as we are hooking her up for Christmas and we would like to be the heroes for a change....lol
