Kailey Shakin' it at the Agriplex Christmas show

Kailey was feeling the music today at the Christmas show.  She was watching the dancers and decided to try some moves herself.

I was playing this am and decided to straighten miss k's hair to see what she thought....she loooooved it.  She was thrilled at how long it looked (like Hannah Montana).  She had to change into a certain outfit and wear her play high heels and was chatting it up on her fake cell phone while flipping her head from side to side saying, 'oh my'.  WOW what did I just create?

** I guess I should add that white stuff all over her face is my Mica Bella mineral eye powder she gets to play with sometimes - a rather nice touch I might add.

So Ella took off like lightening tonight.  She has been scooting around and getting from point A to B somehow, but tonight she crawled over to me...I mean crawled fast....nothing is safe now.  So funny the dogs reactions.  Zoe kept blocking her by laying down in front of her...I think she was trying to keep her safe.  Bridget was scooting on her belly next to her?!  Bob tried to hump her - that did not go over well and I am sure he will think about that the next time...she giggled like crazy and Kailey thought he was dancing with her.

I just realized that I have not even wrote an entry introducing the newest member of our family. This is Bob. He is a 9 months old, tiny tiny (like maybe 11 lbs.) sable Sheltie. He has filled a void left in our family from the loss of my Marley and Parker. How can we feel that there is a void when we have so many occupants still under our roof you may ask? Not sure, but all I know is we love this little guy and he is fitting in very well. Kailey has been walking him and training him. She is so thrilled to be able to walk a dog on her own like she did with Parker. I am so shocked at how this all came about - like it was meant to be....he is the Bob to the late Marley. He reminds me so much of Marley before his condition took the spunk out of him. I miss Marley so very much still and this, I knew, would not be a quick fix for that loss, but I am so happy he has come into my life just the same. <3

Trick or Treat

This year Kailey got to go out with her cousins and Aunt and Uncle for Halloween and this made it soooo much more special.  She had a tough time keeping up with buzz light year....she was like a clumsy witch...hahahaha.  She took a tumble once, but was more concerned about her candy spilling than any skin left on the sidewalk.  Another highlight I will never forget about this experience - Buzz aka Robbie picking a wedgie out while running to the houses...soooo funny or Kailey diving in her pillow case head first to look at her candy over and over and watching her hair grow bigger and bigger....good times.

Kailey's Birthday - Part 2 (the party)

Phew...what a party!

Safe to say the day was a huge success thanks to all the kiddies, friends and family that showed up to celebrate with us.  She was on top of the world and it was so nice to see her interact with her friends and her cousins.  Thank you so much to everyone that came, especially Mom and Denis and Colin, Heather and the kidos for making the trip.  She was very entertaining as some of the pictures below depict.  She got a karaoke machine from Nan and Grandpa and add the hair and glasses from Auntie Heather and uncle Colin and you have your very own rock concert.  I wish I could post more pictures, but it takes forever so I hope you can click the link below for more. The day flew by and I am so glad I had her party in her own home and will definitely be doing so again.  She has so many people who care about her and it is just awesome.

Ella handled the crowd very well  I thought and she ended up napping for most of the party even with all the noise in the background.
