Ella's new bedding. Next up, room paint.

outfit courtesy of cousin Lana...thanks.
Kailey and I made these cookies this am. I would like to say that this was a wonderful experience, but somewhere something went south and it became a lesson in how to control your blood-pressure. She was sooooo over excited that she forgot how to listen and then all the sprinkles went flying by accident and she didn't want to wait for the cookies to bake...yadda yadda yadda. She is so happy with the end result though and loved eating them. ;-) Next time (if there will be a next time) I will make the cookies the night before and then we will just attempt to decorate them.

getting her outfit ready in prep for seeing her buddies

perfect outfit from Shari Ruggiero on Vimeo.

Starting to grow and fill out

I really noticed that she is filling out and gaining weight last night while I was feeding her. She fit differently in my arms before and she was light as a feather. There is more to her now and that makes me happy that she is thriving on what she is getting from me. Due to my horrible experience with breast-feeding the first time I was pretty concerned about how well she is doing, but I think it is safe to say things are awesome. She is still so tiny as she is still wearing her NB clothes and as you can tell from the pictures the size 1 diapers are huge on her. They are literally half the price as the newborn ones.

Momma loves her Ella-Bella

She is just so cozy and cuddly in these jammies. She slept like a champ last night and I got caught up on some much needed sleep. She is definitely sensitive to what I eat so it is just not worth it to have spicy foods!!! Thankfully chocolate is not an issue...phew.

Date night with the K-Bear

wearing the jammy jams Kailey picked out for me - soooo hottt. lol

Ta-Da
Kailey and I went for supper and then, as per her request, went to 'camadian tire' for some dog bones and a 'holly-pop'. We ended up finding some seeds in a kit for her to plant and grow a 'real garden'. She was over the moon with excitement as she has been playing a computer game where she has to plant and care for flowers and vegetables. She was soooo careful and excited at the same time. We went to Tim Horton's for soup and her favorite muffin. I cannot forget about the 'coffee' she had as well - butter Carmel smoothie. I cannot wait to make her a flower garden this summer.
oh yeah, we did bring home some dog bones and some crazy dog toys as well!!!

goof-ball pictures that I had to take of her so she could look at them after and laugh.

notice the band-aid...she dropped a 'honkin' book on her toe.
her newly trimmed hair that seems to be less crazy when she wakes up now.

Thank you Uncle Brad and Auntie Cheryl for Kailey's new 'sleeping dress' that she is wearing as I type on the way to Wal-Mart with tights and accompanying flowers in her hair. :-) This will be a hot item for the next while I know it. Also, thank you for Ella's really cute piglet outfit. They came by this afternoon to see Ella since Cheryl has not seen her since the Hospital. They cannot get over how tiny she still is and how much hair she has. I loooove her hairdo although it seems to get greasy all the time. I am assuming that is from holding her head while she eats?! Not sure. Kailey is still being a big help to me. She knows to wash her hands before handling her binkies and she loves when Ella takes it from her. She adores her and for that I am so grateful.

Kailey wearing the 'family' flowers in her hair from the bouquet that Grandpa. She calls them the family flowers since she had her own bouquet that she could pack around and smell and Nan came up with a way to keep her out of my flowers by saying that they belonged to the whole family...hahaha.

My Girls!

I had to post this picture even though my fancy new hairstyle has just been slept on and it really doesn't show of the new and improved do-re-new...hahaha.

Thank you !!!

Thank you Auntie Char, Uncle Ron and Cousin Julie for the amazing welcome to the world gift!!! The blanket is amazing and I know how much work went into it and I appreciate it so much, it is gorgeous. Also, thank you from Kailey for her Hannah Montana gear. She was thrilled to open a 'sister gift' and wore the shirt to Wal-Mart tonight where she told everyone who would listen that it was a sister gift. :-)

More visitors

Tom and Jan stopped by today as well and brought Kailey and Ella some goodies...thank you so much and thank you for thinking of Kailey as well. To quote Kailey, "I am calm like Tom". hahah. Not sure how or why she came up with that one.

Gido and Grandma meet Ella!!!

Gido(Dad) and Grandma (Diane) came to visit this weekend and we had a great time. I am so glad they came and Kailey was overjoyed to see them. It was so nice that they got to see Ella while she is still so small and new as I know from having Kailey, the newborn stage seems to fly by. Kailey pretty well monopolized her Gido's time and even resorted to trapping him in her bedroom so she could have him all to herself. haha. I felt bad for Dad though as I know he was just itching to hold Ella, but I was very thankful that he made Kailey feel so important. She was pretty upset when they had to leave, but we had a great night. She had a Jacuzzi, watched her new fav. show, 'America's Funniest Home Videos' and had popcorn and fruit chewies. All is good in her world tonight. :-)
