My fish I named Oliver. He swam away just fine...phew, I would have felt awful if I killed it.
This is the life Kailey is saying.I cannot believe it has taken me 11 years of living here to truly take advantage of what this place has to offer. I cannot believe we are literally minutes from this fun activity. Kailey was so excited to go out again that she wolfed down her breakfast and ran the entire path to the boat launch....sporting shades and lip smackers of course. I caught my first fish and the funny thing was that I was only holding Jack's rod for him. I didn't even know I had something at first. I was so excited and was jumping around like a child. I had to get a picture of me holding it. I tell ya, they are slimy, stinky and very ugly when you are that close to them. They also have some sharp parts that I found by the gills. We also went to Pelican rock and that was amazing to see. It really feels like you are somewhere other than Alberta seeing these massive birds. Kailey is such an outdoorsy kid it is so much fun taking her out. Thank you Brad for inviting us!!!
