- I was going through some old posts and this is what popped up. How things have changed for us since then. We now have our Ella Bella, but I had to be reminded, for some reason, of this loss today. No matter what turns and bumps the road of life will have for me I will always carry this other little being that never came to be with me in my heart forever. I am reminded how precious life is. <3

Loss
--Good-bye to my little one that I carried for such a short time. I am sorry I couldn't protect you from whatever the reason of taking you away was. Most of all I am sorry you will never get to meet the precious big sister you would have had.
'An Angel wrote in the book of life, my baby's date of birth. Then whispered as she closed the book 'Too beautiful for Earth'
FOOTPRINTS
HOW VERY SOFTLY YOU TIPTOED INTO MY WORLD ALMOST SILENTLY, ONLY A MOMENT YOU STAYED; BUT WHAT AN IMPRINT YOUR FOOTSTEPS HAVE LEFT UPON MY HEART.

Happy Birthday to meeeeeeeeeee
This is how happy I am!!! I have been spoiled by my Husband, my girls, my family and my awesome friends and I feel so lucky - like a VIP. :-) Kailey keeps 'wrapping' stuff up and giving it to me. Then she says - 'am I the bestest girl in your whole world? Can you give me a monster hug right now?' I even found a wrapped up Barbie in my bed. What a sweet sweet girl. xoxox

green thumb with chipped nail polish...hahaha
view from our deck...ducks unlimited owns it...it is so nice listening to the birds & the cat tails are cool.
The Dahlia that Kailey picked out and planted....so pretty.
My fav. planter combo - had the exact same plants last year. :-)
One of Kailey`s creations - the little flower is a double impatient that looks like candy so she is thrilled with this.
The front of our house will be looking very different by the end of June. We are in major landscaping mode. We have hired a crew to come and do our edging, so there will be a cute out up the driveway where we are going to plant a hedge and then it will come around the front and under the window....I cannot wait. We are planting all sorts of shrubs - pictures above. Kailey and I have been very busy planting pots and hanging out at the local greenhouse. Kailey is sooo into flowers and seeing her in the greenhouse was so adorable. She was in love and wanted to stay there forever (her words).

Here are some pictures taken over the last week or so. Kailey has been very busy being a gardener, making crafts, doing activity books, looking after her sister, bike riding, taking the dogs to the field to play and did I mention gardening??? She loved her flowers a little too much and we are now short 4...it was kind of funny when she pulled the one out and handed me this 'carrot-looking' root with a sad little flower on the other end to plant. I was more than spoiled Mother's day by Jack and the girls. :-) The girls got me an assortment of 'Cake' products and Jack got me another Kameleon necklace/charm with 2 more snaps. I am getting quite the collection now. I love this stuff. We went shopping for some shrubs and other landscaping stuff and I cannot wait to start planting stuff here. It took us so long to get the other house landscaped and I thought I could just let it go for a few years here...as if...it is Shari we are talking about. I have 14 shrubs waiting for new homes sitting on my front deck...hahaha.

Kailey's new bike
We discovered this past weekend that Kailey outgrew her bike from Gido and Grandma...her knees were banging into the handle bar section (one tall 3 year old), so we had to go shopping. This is the bike we came up with. The next stage is wayyyyy too big and scary for a little one trying to learn the concept, so this one is kind of a transitional one. It is Tinkerbell model complete with fake flowers and chimes that sound like fairies...hahaha. When she is not playing with all the bling she is actually doing great riding this. She fell...HARD and her only concern was that in the process a few strands of tinsel came off the handle bars....whata a girl. I am so glad Ella can make use of these bikes as well. We had to raise the seat and handle bars with this one to almost the top!!!
