A new 'swing' in town....Bumbo

So she may have a new favorite thing....the Bumbo seat. The much loved swing is taking a back seat and there is a new kid on the block...hahaha. Now that her neck muscles are stronger she is able to sit in the seat for longer periods of time. She feels like a Princess in her throne...this throne, however, is not sporting precious jewels or gold, rather turquoise rubber. Oh well, she has her Princess bib on so that makes up for it. She watched me eat breakfast this am on the table and watched Parker and Zoe playing in the yard. She was full of smiles.

Sickness update:
She is feeling soooo much better and so am I. She was cranky last night for about an hour and was coughing a bit but I sat with her in the bedroom where the cool mist is running and it helped a bunch. She is still rubbing her face and drooling a bit but she is not fighting swallowing her bottle now. Having her back in the Bassinet is soooo wonderful and I am dreading when I have to put her back to the crib. She is still taking naps either in her crib or the pack & play but I will have to make the big girl step of not having her right next to me. Depending on her weight she may still be able to be in the cradle for a bit longer.

Feeding update:
We are trying a new schedule (essentially the same with some minor tweaking). I am trying to give her last bottle at 8pm and have her sleeping by 9pm. She is able to make it straight through until 5am and then she is pretty hungry. I feed her and she is back to sleep for a couple of hours and her next bottle is 9am. I am trying to up the ounces to 5/bottle and spread out the feeding to four hours rather than the three during the day. She is more satisfied with the 5 oz. and I will see if she can wait the extra hour as a result. Her total/day will be pretty much the same - 25 oz./day doing the 5 @ 5. I like her going to be earlier as it gives me some time to unwind and relax and maybe have an adult conversation...wow. lol
